THERE IS A COVID-19 ASSESSMENT CENTRE OPEN AT OUELLETTE HOSPITAL DOWNTOWN, ENTRANCE IS NEAR THE EMERGENCY ROOM, OPEN 7 DAYS, 9 AM- 4 PM - HOWEVER, ONLY GO THERE IF YOU ARE HAVING TROUBLE BREATHING AND FEEL VERY UNWELL, GOING THERE DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL GET TESTED FOR COVID-19

TIPS TO HELP YOU STAY SAFE DURING COVID-19 OUTBREAK:

  • PERFORM SOCIAL DISTANCING - STAY 2 METRES FAR FROM OTHERS

  • WASH OR SANITIZE HANDS OFTEN

  • DO NOT HANDSHAKE

  • STAY FAR FROM THOSE THAT ARE COUGHING/SNEEZING, HAVE THEM WEAR A MASK IF POSSIBLE 

  • COUGH/SNEEZE IN YOUR SLEEVE

  • THROW TISSUES IN A CONTAINER WITH CLOSED BIN 

  • WIPE DOWN YOUR SURFACES AT HOME THAT ARE TOUCHED FREQUENTLY

  •  IF YOU DON'T HAVE HAND SANITIZER, MAKE YOUR OWN DISINFECTANT BY DOING 1:10 BLEACH, SO 1 CUP BLEACH, 9 CUPS WATER

  • TRY TO STAY HOME DURING THIS TIME

  • AVOID LARGE GATHERINGS, EVEN SMALL GATHERINGS IF POSSIBLE

  • OPEN YOUR WINDOWS ONCE A DAY AND LET FRESH AIR INTO YOUR HOME

  • DO THINGS AT HOME TO DE-STRESS AND RELAX, IT CAN BE A VERY ANXIOUS TIME RIGHT NOW
